I just placed an order for a premade blog template...now what?

Make sure you have stated your "Blog Name" and your 4 choices of social media buttons, and photobucket information in the "Special Instructions" box at checkout. If you forgot to do so, and have already submitted your order, send your preferences to melissa@melissarosedesign.com with the subject name, "YOUR NAME, PREMADE ORDER."

** If you purchased the a la carte "About Me" add-on widget, please email me the image you would like to use.

For Social Media Button Orders:
You will receive the files with your buttons within 72 hours of purchasing! (Usually much sooner). 

Once I place my order, how long until I receive my template?
Once your order is placed & your preferences (see above) are sent, you can expect your personalized files within 72 hours. If you have not received it in that time frame, first check your spam folder. If for some reason you have still not received them, please contact me! 


Will these templates work on Wordpress?
No, as stated in the product descriptions, all premade blog templates are for the Blogger platform.

How do I get started? 
Once you submit a request by filling out the short questionnaire, I will send you 2 separate Paypal invoices for the services you chose. At this time, please be aware of the current wait list here. Current turnaround time is roughly 6 weeks from the time your project begins. However, this timeframe can vary depending on current projects.

Will my project begin immediately?
No. Once you have submitted an order, I will send you a Paypal invoice for a $25 waiting list hold fee. Once you have paid, you will be placed on the wait list and will be contacted when your project is scheduled to begin. At this time, I will send an invoice for the remainder of the amount. Due to the nature of custom design, I am not able to start immediately since I am working on current projects. If you need the design rushed, I can do so for an additional $125. Your project will begin within 7 days.

How does payment work? 
Once you fill out the request form and let me know what services you will need, I will send you an invoice for a $25 hold fee via Paypal. Paypal is the only form of payment accepted (you do not need a Paypal account to pay through Paypal). Payment on all custom orders must be paid in full before a project begins. No project will begin unless payment is made. Due to the unique nature of custom design, refunds will not be given for projects after the listed start date or on projects that have already begun. If you are on the wait list and your project has not yet begun, you may request a full refund (minus a $25 hold fee to have held your spot in the queue). I will email you when your project is to begin.

** Custom Header Designs follow the timeline above. All payment for custom header designs is paid up front at the time of ordering.

How does the design process go? 
Once the request form is filled out & the $25 deposit payment is made, I will send you a client questionnaire to get a feel for what you are looking for in your design. Once returned, you will be placed on the wait list and notified when I am ready to begin your project. You can expect a proof of your design 21-28 after your specified start date. Once a proof is reviewed by you, we can go back and forth making revisions. Custom Blog designs include 3 rounds of revisions. If revisions become excessive, I will notify you before beginning to charge at my rate of $50/hour (usually not needed). Once all design elements are approved, I will send you an e-mail letting you know when I will begin the install. After approval, you can expect your new design up and running within one week. After approval, any changes to the design will be billed at my hourly rate.

Any client that doesn't respond to an email within 14 days will result in termination and no refund will be given. Staying on schedule is important in the design process. When you do not respond to emails, it sets me back and prevents me from taking on other projects. Please be considerate when replying to emails in a timely fashion. Please note that the turnaround time can greatly vary depending on how fast you respond to emails.

Do I need to be available during the design process?
It is very important that you are available by email during the process. Please check your email frequently to ensure the process moves along. If I do not hear back from you within 5 days of an email, your project will be moved to the end of the queue. Overall design time solely lies on how fast the client responds to emails. I will respond to all emails in a timely fashion, and all clients are expected to do the same.

What if I don't like my design? 
That's okay, we can work together until you are 100% satisfied with the design. Custom Blog designs include 3 rounds of small revisions. My goal is that you are completely happy with your blog design. However, if revisions become excessive, I will notify you before beginning to charge at my rate of $50/hour. (This has never happened before.) To help ensure your design is started on the right track, please be sure that you have sent over organized thoughts and requests in your client questionnaire. 

Is Installation included in the price? 
Yes, Installation is included for custom blog designs.

Do you have a wait list? 

Yes, there is a wait list (view here). I do offer a rush option for an additional $125, that places you in my current queue. Please contact me if you need your order rushed. Typically, the turnaround time is 6 weeks. However, this timeframe can vary depending on current projects.

File Storage:
Your design files will be saved for 1 week after installation. If you think you will need updates/revisions later on, you must purchase file storage. Otherwise, your files will be deleted after 1 week. By purchasing this, I will gladly switch out 3 images free of charge over this one year period. Images include: Navigation Bar Headers, Sidebar Label Graphics, or About Me Profile Image. If this is not purchased, all updates & changes will be billed at my hourly rate of $50/hour. After installation, you have 48 hours to contact me with changes regarding links or layouts. No design changes will be made, since you have already approved the design before installation. After the 48 hours, all changes will be billed at my hourly rate.

Do you work on Wordpress designs? 
Currently I am mainly working on the Blogger Platform for full blog designs. However, I can do headers & banners, as well as sidebar elements & buttons for Wordpress. Contact me directly and I'll happily send over my WP pricing sheet! 

** I reserve the right to use your blog design in my portfolio and for other promotional purposes. If you are strongly opposed, please let me know. A small credit graphic linking to my site will be added to the bottom of your page. You must keep this in place for the duration that your design is being used.

I just ordered a custom photo card...now what? 

Once you placed your order, be sure to include your party information or text that you would like on the card AND the photo(s) in the "Special Instructions" box at checkout.

I sent you the information & made payment...now what?
I will send you a proof of your customizations within 72 hours of payment. At this time, you will review for spelling and event details and approve the design. I will then send you the final .jpg file that you can print off at your local photo service (Walmart, for example) or online at any printer!

Please note: All printers print color slightly different. The color of a print at Walmart can look drastically different than a print from a professional photo printer. I cannot guarantee the color on your screen will match the print perfectly, as all screens display color differently.

Can I make color changes to the card I ordered?
I'd be happy to make color changes for an additional $10.00 per card. Contact me directly to order.
